Comments Regarding Selected Articles in this Issue ________________________________________

Be sure to read the article by Leuran Moret- “Depleted Uranium: Dirty Bombs, Dirty Missiles, Dirty Bullets- in Jack Dalton’s section of Participating Authors. I was shocked to read that the number of Gulf War era veterans now on disability since 1991 is 518,739. The source of this number was Terry Jemison of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

We still use depleted uranium weapons.

In this issue, Genevieve Cora Fraser comments on an article by Uri Avnery, also in this issue. It is well worth reading both articles, perhaps more than once, and living with them for a while. They help one appreciate a complicated area. These two articles along with Jason Miller’s take on the same subject –Israel/Palestine-plus Sam Bahour’s continued comments and selected articles from Palestine should provide much food for thought. And feeding your thinking is our main task.

This is perhaps a good place to remind readers that the opinions expressed by our writer’s are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of the editor.
